The company is expanding its footprint in the U.S. with a high-end multi-concept restaurant collection that blends cultural authenticity with modern elegance.
They currently operate multiple venues and are preparing for further expansion in key metropolitan areas. To support this growth, they are seeking a Unit Manager to oversee daily operations, lead new openings, and help carry the spirit of Japanese hospitality across all touchpoints.

* Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple luxury Japanese dining locations
- Take ownership of P&L: revenue, labor, food cost, and operational expenses
- Monitor guest feedback and regional performance to guide business decisions
- Hire and develop teams that embody the spirit of omotenashi (Japanese hospitality)
- Cultivate a professional, respectful, and detail-oriented work environment
- Interact with VIPs, media, and influential guests to create memorable dining moments
- Enhance service recovery and feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to food safety, labor, and liquor laws
- Maintain excellence in cleanliness, service flow, and operational standards
- Ensure each unit meets brand standards in service, culture, and culinary excellence
- Provide on-site leadership through team training, audits, and coaching
- Manage pre-opening logistics and oversee smooth restaurant launches

* Qualifications & Preferences:
- 7+ years of multi-restaurant leadership experience in upscale or fine dining, with an
- appreciation for Japanese or Asian culinary traditions.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and deliver high-standard, personalized guest
- experiences with emotional intelligence and adaptability.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and operational discipline in multi-restaurant settings.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or N2 equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Flexible to travel as needed across assigned locations.
- Experience with Michelin-level or Japanese luxury hospitality brands preferred.
